Refund Policy

The short version

Each reading is generated at the moment of purchase using compute and AI resources. Because the product is delivered instantly and uniquely for you, refunds are limited—but we do offer them in the cases below.

When we refund

  • Generation failure. If your reading fails to generate or is corrupted due to a technical issue on our end, we will either re-generate it for free or issue a full refund.
  • Duplicate charge. If you were accidentally charged more than once for the same reading, we will refund the duplicate charge in full.
  • Unauthorized payment. If your card was used without your authorization, contact us immediately and we will work with Stripe to resolve it.
  • Within 14 days, reading unviewed. If you purchased a reading but have not yet opened or downloaded it, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.

When we generally don’t refund

  • Once your reading has been successfully generated and delivered (opened, downloaded, or forwarded).
  • Dissatisfaction with the tone, content, or predictions of a reading. FATE.AI is a personal reflection tool; readings are interpretive and do not guarantee any outcome.
  • Requests more than 14 days after the purchase date.

That said, we review every request individually. If you feel your case is exceptional, please reach out.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with:

  • The email on the Stripe receipt.
  • The date of the purchase.
  • A brief description of the issue.

We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe, typically arriving within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Chargebacks

Please contact us first. Chargebacks initiated without prior communication may be disputed with documentation of delivery. We’d much rather resolve your concern directly and quickly.
