Privacy Policy

The short version

No account required. Your personal answers are never sold or shared. Your raw responses are never linked to your identity. We retain only anonymized patterns—not your personal words—to improve future readings. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details.

What we collect

When you generate a reading, you answer a short set of questions. We collect only:

• Your answers, used to generate your reading.
• A private session identifier (so your reading can be retrieved).
• Payment metadata from Stripe (transaction ID, amount, currency). We never see or store card numbers.
• Basic server-level diagnostic logs (timestamp, IP hash, request outcome) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.

We do not require your name, address, phone number, or social accounts.

How we handle your responses

Your answers are used to produce your reading. After generation we keep your raw responses only for the time needed to deliver your reading and resolve any refund or re‑download request (typically up to 30 days). After that, your raw responses are deleted or fully anonymized.

What anonymized means: statistical patterns stripped of any link to your identity, session, or email—used to improve the accuracy of future readings. Your personal story is never used to train public models or shared with third parties.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card data never touches our servers. If you provide an email for your receipt, it is used only to send the receipt and the PDF of your reading.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or third parties. The only processors that see limited portions of your data are:

• Stripe — for payment processing.
• Our AI inference provider — to generate your reading (responses transmitted over encrypted channels; not used for public model training).
• Our hosting provider — for application delivery.

Your rights

You can email us at [email protected] to request deletion of any data we still hold about your reading, ask for a copy of your reading, or request clarification about how your data is handled. We respond within 7 business days.

Children

FATE.AI is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where possible, publish the change in advance of its effective date.
